LOFOTEN ISLAND

Situé au nord du cercle polaire, l’archipel des iles Lofoten dévoile un paysage impressionnant. Réputées pour leurs pics montagneux plongeant dans des eaux turquoise, leurs plages sauvages et leurs villages de pêcheurs pittoresques parsemés de cabanes rouges sur pilotis (les rorbuer), elles offrent des paysages grandioses. 

Au coeur de l'hiver, dans une attente haletante, où le rythme cardiaque s'accélère et la respiration se fait courte, se dévoile à mon plus grand bonheur et stupéfaction ce spectacle fascinant que sont les aurores boréales. Un moment grandiose, d'une beauté irréelle, mon rêve vient de se réaliser !

Located north of the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten Islands archipelago boasts a breathtaking landscape. Renowned for their mountain peaks plunging into turquoise waters, their wild beaches, and their picturesque fishing villages dotted with red stilted cabins (rorbuer), they offer truly magnificent scenery. In the heart of winter, in a state of breathless anticipation, with my heart racing and my breath coming in short gasps, the mesmerizing spectacle of the Northern Lights unfolded before me, to my utter delight and amazement. A truly magnificent moment, of unreal beauty—my dream had just come true!
